Hi I am going with pcspecialist.

I like to buy a new gaming desktop, which will be strictly for gaming and web surfing. I will be playing some AAA games, such as resident evil (village, 7 and 2) Metro Exodus, Doom and some VR gaming such as Half-Life: Alyx. I will be mostly playing indie games mind for the most part and wont be streaming.

Can someone recommend me a build from PC specialist? I been on here and found the help more better here then their own forums

My budget is £2000-3000 for Desktop and £1100 for a large (one) screen which I don't think i want in 4k, 1080p I think should be fine.

Memory I would like 2TB, and 16 GB Ram, I wanted a RTX 3080 but prices are a bit high every where I go.

I would ITX case, I need to have it small as I have limited space.

I would like it to be a little future proof as I need to keep it about 5 years.

Warm regards

Solution
I don't believe they offer Mini-ITX builds out of their customized section, at least for 12th gen. Also not seeing any DDR5 motherboards or DDR5, so 'future' proofing is a little tricky.

Struggling to spend that much honestly, plenty of room in that budget for an RTX3080.

Some Corsair Mid Tower (£60)
i5-12600K
240mm AIO cooler
Z690 motherboard (ASUS Prime)
RTX3080 LHR
2x16GB of 3200Mhz DDR4
27" 1440p ASUS TUF Gaming monitor
2TB Corsair NVMe SSD
Corsair RM850x power supply

That all comes to £2513, just add keyboard, mouse, headphones/speakers
