Help with Ryzen compatibility

So im putting together some stuff, and i wanted to make sure everything will work together. New to ddr4 and i see a lot of em say they are optimized on x99 boards, but not fully sure how they will run and if the ram led will be compatible with the mobo leds and all that.

Anyhow the parts are the Ryzen 1600, the MSI B350 Carbon and these ram sticks https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820236076

You're welcome, go with the AsRock X370 Gaming X for a balanced X370 choice, the Asus X370 Pro for mid range, and Asrock X370 Taichi at the highest end.

The x370's just seem overkill for me since ill never Sli or Crossfire. Kinda why i suggested the b350 msi board. Unless there are other features on x370s that arnt on b350s

Yeah, in that case go for the B350M Pro4 or the B350 Tomahawk which is good value atm, and solid overall.

Pull the gun and bought this trio. Should be satisified with it. As i can sell my old stuff for some money also

That board isn't worth it, combos aren't good value.
Get the Taichi or Strix-F instead, the Pro Carbon isn't great.

Combo was only like 5 dollars more for the x370 than the b350 carbon alone. I like it the most and the leds are nice. Gonna match up everything well 😉
