My monitor was set to 65 hertz by default. It can display 75 so i put it at 75, but is there a rish at doing so? Will higher hertz damage my monitor and is is safe for me (i have no problems with flashing lights or anything that i know of).

what monitor, if it is LCD you don't need to adjust the refresh rate as it will do damn all.

a crt of course is different and you shouldn't really push it more than it is rated to go. however, the higher hertz is better for your eyes.
