Hello guys, I am drafting a new build for a bang for your buck gaming rig, so far I have chosen:
Motherboard:
Asus Maximus III GENE Micro-ATX
Processor:
Intel Core i5-750 (Lynnfield 4c)
There is some serious performance for value going on with those two.
However I am having difficulty settling on the best RAM for the board, I was looking at DDR3 1600 overclocked to 2000, but I see that there are quality manufacturers about such as OCZ, Corsair, Crucial. I would like your opinions on the right memory to go with, the requirements are this.
1. Best manufacturer for highest quality.
2. Best bang for buck - I would like the best value for money AND performance.
3. DDR3 1600
4. 2GB of either 4x512MB or 2x1GB.
5. Focus is high end gaming performance.
If anyone could provide me with advice on this that would be great, as I am still learning!
Thanks!
