You just have to accept the fact that you can't change
history and resolve to live a better life in the future.

Julie, try this, open Internet Explorer, I assume you are talking about
Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, on the General tab,
make sure that History is set to more than one day. Second, click the
Settings button under Temporary Internet Files on the same tab, how many
megabytes is allocated for amount of disk space to be used for Temporary
Internet files? Also, go to the Advanced tab, scroll to the security
section and make sure "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is
closed," is NOT checked. Portions of various webpages go into this folder
and if set to empty on close or not enough space is allocated, it might have
an effect on the length of time History covers.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive, if too small, this may
be preventing Windows from saving too much History.

Also, do you have security software installed, Norton Security Suite for
example, it may be set to empty such files each time you boot in which case
it or whatever security software you are using would be deleting the very
files you need for longer historical searches.

If you are using McAfee anti-virus turn off the ActiveX part of Internet
Filter.

I dont properley understand the question? but if you wish to view your
history say of last week or yesterday the best way to do it is go to local
documents and click onto history/check first// go to tools on the explorer
click onto internet options see how many days you have allocated that the
files will remain in the history i always set mine to approx 1week before
they are erased/that is another way you can change your history by revaluing
how many days you have in the box before these are wiped? Hope that answers
your question.Carl
