I want to set up home network storage over WiFi and was curious on what some good options would be.

My goal is to have a large amount of storage (at least 16TB) that I can access the data on from my home PC, my phone, my laptop, etc., from anywhere in the house.

Would I want something like a RAID drive/enclosure that I plug into my router/modem?

or is there some other equipment I'd need to get a home network like that set up?

Ideally, what you want is a 2 or 4 bay NAS device, connected directly to your router via ethernet.
QNAP or Synology.

All your house devices can access that, through the router. Be they wired or WiFi.
