Hone Sundean

I found one last night (Mephisto dropped it) and am wondering what to put in
the sockets. I can't upgrade it, b/c the highest rune I have is a Lum which
also pretty much rules out runewords, I think. I do have amns and shaels,
and maybe a 15% IAS jewel somewhere.
any suggestions? It's for a NM might merc, who already sort of likes it
the way it is.

Yeah its great for spear mercs. They can kill bosses easy with it. Big corwds
in hell can hurt em sometimes but one on one the crush blow and high leech from
2 amn they can kill baal easy with it. Dont upgrade it though it turns into a
ghost spear with REAL high dex req your merc will have to be almost 90 to use
it unless he get boost to dex someway.

The fact that it isn't grey rules out runewords.

Amn and Shael are good, I'd check out your family jewels to see if you
have anything that could be better than another Amn. I know I tend to
accumulate a lot of jewels that I never use.

Hi I been here just been spending almost all my online time playing now. I got
6 characters now a paladin necro amazon barbarian wearbear and a new sorc I
started this week Also aol been tickling me off bout my posts half dont show
up or if thy do then i dont see all responses to em and now aol is gonna dump
newsgroups soon they wont even say when just a window pops up saying they
will be gone in early 2005 🙁. But I saw post bout upgrading the hone and
thought i better warn him bout the dex cost. Sometimes upgrading exceptionals
to eleite isnt worth it i dont think like I WAS gonna upgrade my paladins HoZ
but alice helped me test on open battle.net and def only went up like 15 but it
LOST its indestructable mod so it gonna stay a gilded shield.

Cool, hopefully I'll run into you on BNut again when I get this
machine working right ;-) As far as AOHell, my recommendation would be
to dump them, but lacking that, sign up for a free news group server
like http://news.individual.net/, which is the one I use. You'll
probably have to get a different reader, again my recommendation would
be either Agent or Free Agent (www.forteinc.com , if you download the
trial version and don't buy it at the end of the 30 days it switches
to Free Agent).
