A few days ago my pc overheated and shut down while gaming, I blame that on the ambient temp in my room since my AC unit was broken. However, I've been looking at my cpu idle temp and also it's temp when I'm doing simple web browsing. I am not really sure whether or not it is an issue.

Ambient temp during time of pictures is around 75-80F.

Is my cpu running too hot when I only simply have a web browser open? Is it an issue with one of my fans?

PC Specs:
Asus M5A99X EVO
AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6 GHz Quad Core
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB
8 GB RAM
PSU: 600W

Stock heatsink fan, the thermal paste was pre-applied.

Solution
Well when you re set the heat sink you want to use 80%+ alcohol and a lint free rag to clean the old thermal paste off of both the CPU and the cooler. When re installing use a small pea sized amount of a quality thermal paste placed in the center of the CPU. I use the Arctic Silver 5 compound in all of my machines and it has served me well, however most quality compounds will serve your needs perfectly. With the paste applied to the CPU lower the heat sink evenly on to the CPU and lock in to place. If the heat sink needs to be removed from the CPU for any reason during installation the thermal compound needs to be removed and re applied as it will adopt air bubbles which will negatively impact your cooling performance.
You might want to check that the heatsink is fully attached to the CPU and not on an angle. Sometimes when I open up PCs the heatsink isn't completely flush and it causes problems.

That is a mistake on my part. It should read Sapphire HD 7850. On the other hand, I reset the heatsink and my cpu is running at around 50-53 C (122F). Could it be that I need more thermal paste? When I was resetting the heatsink, it looked like there wasn't much paste, but I could be wrong.
