Interesting observation. You see flame wars all over the Internet
about the most mundane topics, and I thought my gun post in this thread
might cause some problems. But nope, just a few reasonable answers.

I guess this is kind of off subject, but me and my spouse were
wondering how many real gang members play GTA and then laugh
about...like a simulation. You know how football players often get
together and play football games for the heck of it?

Anyway...

Sounds like you're talking about the West-End of Newcastle. But you
could be talking about a few places.

Meadowell, it's not as bad now as it has been.

Oh, hello neighbour. I live about 3 miles to the West in Howdon (another
lovely part of Newcastle)

You should hop onto your PCJ-600 and pop over for some crystal :)

:O) I'm afraid don't et out much mate, but it's nice to see a local
doing the rounds. howden eh? I don't know much about the actual town,
I only really get to see the bit down by the tunnel and that's not
often.

The meadowell has been up and down all its existence. presently it's
on a downward slide.

Just stay in North Shields, this is the Windsor St territory. Get in
Howdon and get capped!

That is true but then you have to wonder if it is the particular laws
that are keeping our (uk) gun crime down, without wanting to sound
like a git i could wander out onto the streets of salford and get hold
of a gun with probably little or no problem, it is just in the uk most
people simply dont want them over here.

The other strange argument that was brought up in Bowling for
Columbine is that the gun laws in canada are fairly similar in that
you can just buy them over the counter at practically any shop (please
correct me if i am wrong) yet their level of crime is so much lower.
the example he gave was Detroit in the usa (i belive a bit of a rough
city) and the one across the bay in canada (Winsor if i remember
right) when they looked at the gun crime figures the difference was
incredible, even though they are both big cities with the legal right
to carry guns and seperated only by a thin bit of water. You have to
wonder why the canadians dont shoot people like the americans. it
cannot be the laws set down as they are the same in each country

He did actually think of each move as a move up :O) It's something to
do with his boss owning the last two houses so he gets rent cheap or
sommat. Not a good excuse but better than none
