From what I know its the GPU that is bottlenecking my performance, however I'm not sure how I can upgrade it in a laptop.
I want to play games like GTA 5, fortnite, apex legends, cs go, sea of theives. I've tried every game on that list and they run on the pc but at very bad peformance.

The GPU is a iGPU which is built into the CPU so yea, no bottleneck.

-Make sure the system is clean of dust as overheating will affect performance.
-If it is overheating, replacing the thermal paste on the CPU should help.
-Make sure the laptop is in performance mode, especially when plugged in.
-Make sure the iGPU is updated, this driver is from Intel.

This being said you only have the Intel HD 620 for your graphics so it's going to be difficult to run those games even with a lowered graphic setting and lowered resolution.

Aside from lowering settings and resolution in the games there it not much that will help. Your system is for basic use like office documents, web browsing, movies. For games you need a system with a better video card.
