I am experiencing a recurring blue screen issue with my Intel i5-13600K system immediately after the desktop loads.
I have invested my hard-earned money into building this system and am now feeling deeply frustrated and overwhelmed. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot, the problem persists.
My PC Components:
- Processor: Intel i5-13600K
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M Aorus Pro AX
- RAM: 2 x 16 GB (32 GB total) Adata XPG Lancer 6000 MHz DDR5
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB (3-fan model)
- Power Supply: Cooler Master 750W Fully Modular Gold Rated PSU
- Cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB V2
- Operating System: Genuine Windows 11 Pro
The Problem:
My PC frequently crashes with a blue screen error that displays the message "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED". This occurs almost immediately after booting up and reaching the desktop, regardless of whether the system is idle or in use. The issue repeats multiple times a day.Observations:
- Temperatures: The system consistently runs cool, with temperatures staying below 40°C.
- Diagnostics:
- I ran the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool, which reported no issues.
- I tested the RAM, and it passed all checks.
- Drivers and Software:
- All device drivers are up to date.
- Antivirus software is also up to date.
- No overclocking has been performed on the CPU or RAM; all settings are at default.
Actions Taken:
I came across a post on this forum suggesting that Kaspersky Antivirus could be a potential cause of this issue and should be uninstalled. Following that advice, I removed it. However, I still have Kaspersky VPN installed. Is it okay to keep it?My Situation:
I specifically chose Intel over AMD for a reliable multitasking experience, carefully selecting these components for performance and stability. However, the constant crashes and blue screens, even when the PC is idle, have rendered my system unusable. This has significantly impacted my productivity, as my work depends entirely on this PC.I have invested my hard-earned money into building this system and am now feeling deeply frustrated and overwhelmed.
