I got an old power supply that was replaced with my new CX600 on my current PC, and I have an idea about using an Old PC case as a Hub for a SATA Hard Drive and my DVD drive and connect them via USB 3.0 to my Main PC.

How can I power them using the old Power supply? since the hard drives I have doesn't fit anymore on my main PC and the PC Case on my main PC doesn't support any DVD Drive bay.

Just put it all together in the other case and run the SATA wires between the cases. It's clunky, but will work.

I'd say it would be better to get an external HDD and DVD case and just connect them with that. that is what i did with an old HDD I now use as a portable, external drive. They are powered by the USB port(s) you connect them to.
