Question How can I stop my games from randomly minimizing while I'm playing?

I've had this problem a few years ago but I fixed it and everything was good. Since then I've upgraded my PC and everything is new. Recently for a bout a year I've been having to deal with my games randomly minimizing on me. I have to manually click on the application to get back into the game. It's terrible having to click back into a Street Fighter match and realizing I can't win because of this stupid problem. Can someone please help me find out what causing my computer to do this?

Z170-E Motherboard
MSI 1070
Evga 750 watt power supply

Sounds like you are hitting the Windows key, is that possibly the problem? If yes some gaming keyboards allow you to deactivate that key.

I would say no since it happens even when I'm not using my keyboard. When I'm playing Street Fighter I use a separate controller and I am still faced with this issue.

Very unlikely, the USB cable fits quite well. I can't imagine it getting loose and disconnecting.

To be honest I’m out of ideas. I’ve used XBox controllers myself and never encountered this problem.
