Question How can I turn my computer on?

I own a Lenovo ideapad 100-15IBY. Yesterday I was trying to factory reset the computer so that I can sell it. Midway while it was factory resetting the laptop ran out of charge. So I plugged the laptop in but it won't turn on. When I I press the power button the light to say it's on comes on but nothing comes on the screen. Then after 3 seconds the lights turn f again. When I turn it on I can't hear the fan or any of the components. Does anyone one have an answer?

I would boot it off a USB stick, either a Windows installer stick or Live Linux. Most likely the OS disk is corrupted and will need a clean install, and a USB boot with a charged AC attached computer will tell you that answer. You never do anything like a reset or even an update without AC power for this reason -- if the battery does discharge fully during the process you end up with a dead machine.
