[SOLVED] How do i flash BIOS on my ROG strix B450-f that isn't booting to BIOS with a Ryzen 5 3600x using a USB

This is my first PC build and my motherboard and CPU are compatible but when i plug it in, it doesnt show a display on my monitor. I know its not an issue with the monitor or the GPU as even when i plug it into the motherboard it doesnt work. My friend told me i had to flash the BIOS but i dont understand how to do it. can anyone help?

You cannot. The ROG B450-F does not support BIOS updating without a compatable CPU.

You will have to acquire an older 1st or 2nd generation Ryzen CPU in order to update the bios to boot with a Ryzen 5 3600x.

AMD will loan you an older Athlon CPU for free in order to update the bios. Then you return the CPU.

when i plug it into the motherboard it doesnt work

3600x has no IGPU, so even if your BIOS was up to date you would not be able to get video out of the motherboard.

Full system specs BTW?
