I just finished building this pc and I've been trying for hours to install Windows 10 and just get it up and running. I've seen countless YouTube videos nothing is working.
I have a Asus rog motherboard so you know the bios I'm in but I am at a loss for downloading windows 10.
Some one please help me I just want to use my computer ffs

I start the download process and everything is going good and when it gets down to the "finishing up" part of the install a pop up shows saying "windows could not prepare the computer to not into the next phase of installation."

Also in the bios when I can choos what to boot from there is a
uefi: kdi-msftwindows 10 pmap, partition 1 (14784mb)
and then there is just a kdi-msftwindows 10 pmap
And finally my ssd
P1: toshiba-tl100

Can someone help with this? I don't know which one to boot to download. Wtf do I do?

Have you followed all of the directions on this thread? How many hard drives do you have? Did you disconnect all hard drives except your target C: drive before you installed the OS? Did you unp0lug the USB stick after installation? Are you using legacy mode or UEFI? Is your SSD formatted in MBR or GPT?

I have one hard drive and one ssd. When I downloaded windows today. I downloaded it to my ssd. I didn't unplug the USB right after it installed but I did once I went and boot overrided with my ssd I installed it to and it worked.
