[SOLVED] How do i make the non-boot drive as the main one?

So i have a 500 gb m.2 and a 2 tb hdd.

How do i make it so that the m.2 is the boot drive (has windows installed in it) but not be the main drive.

Because otherwise the m.2 will have all the "program files" "program file x86, etc" or whatever.

And i want them all to be on the HDD, since i dont want the m.2 to be filled up with all the dowloads and files i get.

Because in my old pc the m.2 got filled up because it was the main drive with all the information in it.

It doesn't work the way you're thinking.

You want the OS and the boot partition on the SSD.
You can't just designate the SSD as "the boot drive" without doing a bunch of other stuff.

And having the "Program Files" on the HDD is tossing away 1/2 the benefit of having the SSD.

How much space is consumed on your current 2TB HDD?
And what, exactly, constitutes that consumed space?

Well all game files, dowloads, launchers goes to the M.2, so the m.2 has 300 gb in it, while the HHD has only 60 gb..

No, my boot is in SSD, all files and other stuff in SSD also, the 2 tb HDD is the empty one..

In your browser settings, change the default download location.
Mine goes to the "N" drive, which is a mapped folder on a whole other system.

For your Steam games, you can designate a different drive as the install location, even the default location.
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder

To be clear, this does not make your other drive, the HDD, your "main drive".
It is just a different place that the OS, your brower(s), and Steam knows about.
