How do I open a Cooler master A series fan?

I am attempting to open my cpu cooler fans so I can oil them. Problem is that I am unsure how to open this fan. I am following the instructions here, however I am unable to remove the lube plug. Here are some pictures of my fan:

You can use a flat head screw driver, just use caution. You probably can't damage the seal (lube plug) easily with a screwdriver, however you may accidentally gouge into the plastic on the fan and that could ruin the seal.

Also fingernails work if they're long enough (and clean).

Thats the problem, I cant reach it. I have tried a screwdriver, exacto knife, and a safety pin but I cant get it loose.
