How do I permanently remove an infected WinRAR file ?

Hi,

Somebody sent me an infected WinRAR file. When I checked with NOD 32 antivirus by right clicking it did not show that it had a virus,

But after Un Packing it, now it shows virus. My antivirus NOD 32 is able to delete the infected unpacked file but not the infected WinRAR file.

So I am still stuck with that infected WinRAR file.

How do I permanently remove that infected WinRAR file ?
