I don't have install disks. I have the I386 folder. It has the setup.exe
inside, the file version id 5.1.2600.1106. It called the windows NT set
up executable. I have the windows tag on the computer side with product
key. Also it is SP1 so will updating solve this problem. I really don't
want to access the internet until I solve this problem

Hi,

From within the working installation, run winnt32.exe from the I386 folder,
then do an in-place upgrade. From outside, run winnt.exe.

Thanks Rick,I didn't need to run these exe's. I had a problem with IE6
connecting. Probably caused by spyware or adware. A winsock fix fixed
this conectivity. So I was able to use the Windows update and am now all
updated.
