I am a dummy when it comes to configuring my server, I installed the game
and am running the dedicated server in its default configuration because I
don't know how to do anything else. Can someone point me in the right
direction as to how to make the maps change every 10 minutes and all the
other goodies like that? I have tried a lot of google searching but just
cannot seem to find anything about it.

Thanks!

Well you will find that you can locate the 869 server variables by
typing svlist in your game console. You might want to type:

svlist log

It will create a comma delimited file that you can load into Excel or
Gnumeric (if your a Linux user) to make it a little mor managable.

But for the section you are talking about:

// round specific cvars
mp_roundtime 5 <= Makes your ROUND time 5 minutes
mp_fraglimit 50 <= Makes a round restart when someone gets 50 kills
mp_maxrounds 0 <= max number of rounds played before mapchnage
mp_winlimit 0 <= max number of rounds one team can win before
mapchange
mp_timelimit 30 <= max MAP time limit
