How do I tighten the screws on my LG Flatron E2342?

I've had this problem for a while now, the stand on my monitor has gotten too lose up to a point where it's not supported at all and needs to be fixed ASAP. Unfortunately, the area where the screws are hidden appears to have this lock symbol on it which I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. In my moment of frustration, I got a screwdriver and tried to force my way in, as you can see in the bottom right corner (feel free to laugh, I deserve it)

So how do I access these screws to tighten them without doing further damage?

The lock symbol marks where you connect a cable lock. A cable lock prevents someone from moving or stealing the monitor. I found a similar post on another site. Is this your post? https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1268016-how-to-dissasembleremove-lg-monitor-from-its-stand/
