How do i use my own webcam remotely to monitor while im away

have hp omni 100 with winows 7 home premium and built in webcam,wanted to be able to either turn it on when i leave home or better yet turn it on from work and be able to monitor my residence dont have alot of money to spend on it any help would be greatly appreciated
