How do I verify that new Video Card is fully functional ?

I bought three ATI FirePro 2460 Video cards each with 4 mini DP ports supporting 4 Monitors.

Right now I have only two monitors & others will take little time to arrive.

Meanwhile I have to check these video cards to see if they are fully functional & there is no damage or other problems with them & let the seller on ebay know about them.

Can I just plug 2 monitors in 2 ports & then switch to other 2 ports to check if they are working ?

So question is if checking each card with 2 monitors at a time instead of all 4 monitors in 4 ports would prove that the video card is fully functional ?

u can plug all 4 monitors into one card at once, or spread them over 2 cards, or over 4 cards,

as long as u get display, they work........ :/

I only have 2 monitors, so my question was, if connecting 2 in two ports & then switching to other 2 ports will qualify as a good card.
