Yeah that's cool, but it's not clear. Besides you can get a dust filter and you'd be amazed how dust does not pile up inside your case.

You may also be surprised at how hot your components will get and how many power problems you'll have.

The concept is neat, but I dread to think about the heat. grounding and static issues of using a plastic case...

The components no longer have a large chunk of metal bolted to them for aid in head dissipation.

The components no longer have a common earth/ground and 0V for each component may no longer be 0V - until it gets to the respective i/o controller - probably your mobo.

You have just put $n000 of sensitive electronic components into a static trap - what happens the first time you shuffle the case on a nylon carpet - what goes bang! first?

As you say - a very cool concept, but one, I feel, that is doomed.
