How long do WD Red's (4tb) last for mass storage?

I am planning to make my first system after long considerations. Pretty much decided on everything, but still undetermined on storage.

My plan for storage is:
1 x Samsung 970 EVO 500GB N.2 NVMe SSD (for boot drive, games, etc.)
1 x 4TB WD Red (for movies, pictures, work files, etc.)

WD reds seemed like a tempting solution, however I don't plan on making an NAS as its just going to be a personal system so I worry about the longevity of the drive. I also hate running out of space and having to transfer some data to external drives all the time (I currently use an ASUS ROG G750JX with 1tb of space which is mostly used up to store games and videos). Any thoughts? Possible changes? Better recommendations? I would like to hear it all.
