Content of directory "Downloaded Program files" is invisible. How can I do
it visible? I checked that in Folder options "Show hidden files..." is
selected
and " Display the content of system folders" also is checked.
Thank you
Evgeny

If you've got Explorer's view options -
Show Hidden Files and Folders (Checked)
Hide extensions for known Files and Folders (Unchecked)
Hide Protected Operating System Files (Unchecked)
Then you should see the objects in the folder, such as
Shockwave Flash Object. If you Right Click the entry and then
click Properties from the details box. Click the Dependencies
(TAB) and it will show you the files that comprise the object.
However, the filepath will be truncated - so it's not always easy
to decipher.

Thank you for you answer.
This is exactly the problem that
> Show Hidden Files and Folders (Checked)
> Hide extensions for known Files and Folders (Unchecked)
> Hide Protected Operating System Files (Unchecked)
but I do not see the content of the folder Downloaded Program files.
Any suggestions?

Are you sure that your setup has any Add-ons currently installed ?

Open IE, Click Tools, Internet Options, Programs (TAB) then the
Manage Add-ons button. Toggle the Show box to "Add-ons
currently loaded in Internet Explorer". I would suspect that as a
minimum you might have Sun Java Console and Acrobat Reader.

You have to delete the hidden desktop.ini file

Open up a command prompt at the folder

del /ah desktop.ini

Reopen the folder

Jon

Thank you for your answer.
There is no such "Manage Add-ons button" in Programs TAB. Beside of that I
don't see connection of this issue
with my question (Content of directory "Downloaded Program files" is
invisible. How can I
do it visible? ). Any other suggestions?
