me 1 Distinguished Oct 2, 2010 861 6 19,065 Aug 19, 2011 #3 Right click desktop>properties> appearance tab> advanced>select Window in items select second color and click ok twice. It also changes the color to all open windows, not only icons font color, but if you hate that, you can change it back. Upvote 0 Downvote
