Question How to connect powercable to this TV motherboard?

Hey y'all!

First of all, I was conflicted whether to post this here or in the Motherboards forum, so hopefully I picked the right place.

Recently I saw someone left a nice looking TCL 50P615 TV so I took it home. I went to try and find out how to connect it to power to see if it even works or not but I saw there was no power cable anywhere to be found. I opened the back plastic covering and saw the motherboard, and quickly found the connector from which power is supposed to be connected, but the connector was unplugged.

Cable that I need (image from some expensive ebay listing that is overkill for my needs) (that I don't know the name of or where to get it from, so if someone does please let me know).

The motherboard model is 40-RT51N4-MPB2HG-C. I already ordered a power cable to attempt to connect it to the television and it has arrived but I discovered the power cable is not meant to connect to the weird connector on the board, but probably to some extension cable coming from the motherboard to the outer wall of the TV.

My question is this: what sort of cable do I need to buy to connect this TV to power? Or can I perhaps take the existing cable I already bought and simply cut it, strip it, and connect the cables manually to the motherboard?

Since you found the TV, it may or may not even work. If you are comfortable doing such tasks, I would do it myself. I build a lot of machines and other electronic tinkering, so yeah I'd just make due with what you have, but you need to decide if you are comfortable doing that -- and above all don't plug the thing in until you are quite sure you did it correctly and not in any outlet close to sensitive electronics. You want to make it so the worst that could happen is that it goes poof or just doesn't work, and avoid causing other damage to your dwelling or yourself.

Ready made, wouldn't have guessed that was out there.

I personally would test it first before spending any money, but that ship has sailed. Though such testing would be inherently dangerous with some temporary connection to the AC input pins using alligator clips or something.

Yes, thanks to @helpstar I found the type of cable I need, although shipping from ebay isn't relatively cheap and could take a while.

I think I will attempt to safely test the TV first like @Eximo said, and if it powers on, I'll order the proper cables. Otherwise, back to the streets it goes.

And of course, everything will be done safely with extra precautions, thanks @RealBeast

Update: I hooked the TV up to power with some temporary cables, the TV powered on but the screen had damage and blacked out after a few seconds.

So to no one's surprise, it doesn't work, ah well, back to the streets it goes.

Reminds me I need to fix my old TV and do something with it. Definitely a power problem. I did re-cap it once, but it died about 2 weeks later again. Might just need to buy a fresh power board and re-cap that.

I have a giant old rear projection from before LED/Plasma out in my guest house, weighs a ton and I can't give it away.
