Good day :)

My computer is equipped with a graphics card:
Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB GDDR5 (128 Bit) HDMI, DVI, DP, BOX

I need to connect the old computer monitor Samsung SyncMaster 740n to this card somehow.
It seems to me that my monitor has such an input: 15-pin D-SUB VGA

Is it possible to connect such new card and old monitor at all?

I have such cable for this monitor:

So all I have to do is buy such adapter:

then connect the adapter's HDMI plug to my card and take my VGA cable with blue plugs, and connect one end to the adapter's VGA socket (input), and the other to the monitor?

If so, then will everything then work as it should, will the card correctly transmit to the monitor?
