Hi, I hope you're well.
I have an optical mouse with storm effect lights (so, I don't want to disable the red light on the bottom, but the storm lights only normally). I want to disable them completely or at least when the PC is in sleep mode (shut down, too).
OP is Windows 10. Is there any software to download or built in the control settings that I should check in order to completely disable storm lights? I don't even know why they produce a mouse with storm lights without an option to turn them off.
I've googled. Nothing.
One guy is mentioning the ERP enabling in BIOS, but I googled and it showed that it is problematic for Gigabyte.
And my PC is mostly in a sleep state, almost always, so I want to shut it down at least when it is in a sleep state, but would prefer completely disabling the storm lights.
Cheers

- The motherboard is Gigabyte G31M-2ESL
- Putting a sock or any other creative solutions like painting is not applicable.
