how to disable the 'Shortcut' option

Can anyone tell me how to disable the 'Shortcut' option under Desktop Context
menu;under 'New'?None of the other options should be affected by this.

Delete the ShellNew key.

Add or remove entries in the New objects list (ShellNew)
