Yes and no! There wasn't always an easy way to get to the forums but for the last few weeks the link has been sitting right there. All you had to do was click.

I've seen more ads too but I TRY to not pay attention

Everyone has been able to do this since... well, forever. It was simply never made obvious as to how to edit your comment when viewing it via the page for the article, instead of the forums themselves.
