The really don't give us much info to go on if they really need help though. Shame.

I work on 5 forums, and this one has a wealth of folks who either waste our time, or post a Q and never tell us if it worked. Also rarely are we thanked. I'm starting to feel that a lot of the OP's are just kids who need instant gratification. This kind of thing is not conducive to attracting techies. But I'm the new kid on the block, and not rocking the boat yet.

There is a number of moderators on this site. However, this is a large site. There's a lot of 1 shot posters.

I know, that's what I said. Even a one-time poster can post feedback and say "Thank-you." It's very gratifying to us to feel appreciated. After all, we don't get paid for this, but do it in our spare time.
