How to enable wifi adapter settings in hp laptop

Hello,
i am using hp g62 notebook and i an unable to turn on the wifi adapter. in my hp wireless assisatant there is bluetooth option to turn on and that is also not working. i tried switching on the fn key and f12 no use. how do i enable the wifi adapter. please help

is the a switch in the front or on the side to enable the wifi?
