Hi,
I have an older gaming PC that I'm upgrading to the max.

My current build:
CPU : Intel Q9450
CPU FAN : Noctua NH-D14 6 Dual Heatpipe
MOBO : Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 (F6 Bios)
DDR3 : Corsair 2x2GB (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)
GPU: Zotac Geforce 1050 TI
PSU : OCZ (OCZ720EVOSLI) 720Watt
CPU @ 3400mhz**RAM @ 1700mhz**

Gigabyte states on their website 8GB DDR3 as max memory for the motherboard.
I've tried 2x4GB Corsair Vengance 1600mhz
(System wouldn't boot)
I've tried 2x4GB G.Skill Ares 1600mhz
(System wouldn't boot)

I came across a post where somebody is claiming that they are running 4x8GB stable on the X48T-DQ6 and that the memory has to be low density otherwise the mobo won't recognize it.

Has anybody had any experience with that board and could tell me what Ram they where using??

Regards
Heiko
