[SOLVED] How to fix micro stuttering in Apex Legends

So I have an i5 4670k, 16 gig ram ddr3, RTX 2060, 600 watt power supply. Windows 7. All drivers are up to date. I am wondering if upgrading processor would get rid of stuttering. Thanks.

No. No experience overclocking. Would this be safe to overclock with stock coolers?

No. Maybe a little bit, but still no.
You need a good cooler for that and it's worth to buy.
You are wasting this CPU potential not overclocking it.

What You can do is some testing:
download msi afterburner with performance monitor and check in game CPU and GPU usage.
Most probably CPU is at it's limits, cuz it has only 4cores/4threads and it's pretty slow for this card on stock clocks.

What is Your avg fps in game? Maybe if You set the fps limit to 60 You will be able to notice any difference? On what resolution do You play?

FPS is all over the place, 115-190 low settings, I tried the 60 FPS cap last night, seems to make it more stable and doesn't crash anymore. I'm thinking I will replace CPU, Ryzen 2600 or Ryzen 7 2700
