New pre-built PC came in today. Plugged in the power, monitor, mouse, and keyboard cables and started it up only to be welcomed with "Windows cannot complete installation, restart to install" error. If I restart it just happens again. Please help someone with little knowledge of PCs and just got his first one after 8 years

Welcome to Toms :)

New pre-built PC came in today.
who built it.
is it made by someone like HP or Dell, or a small company? If its a big company, you might need to contact people you bought it off.
If a small company, contact them and tell them. They didn't finish the install. They should have tested it worked at least.

I don't mean to be mean or anything but that is who I would call. They have to support the stuff they make. And help you :)

Or do you know anyone who is good with computers who can help?

Do you know what parts are in the PC? Is it a brand name like Dell or HP?
Does it have a make/model as I can go find info then.

its fixable BUT you shouldn't have to do it on a brand new PC you only just got. It should be perfect.
