Solution
So you have two Gpu's ? 1 on the Cpu and the Gtx. can the Igpu be disabled in Bios? Since resolution is changed in windows and windows loads the Gpu driver late in the boot it may be going by the Igpu.
Another thought would be can you make both cards the same resolution.
I can see my Igpu drivers but have never been able to adjust resolution since I installed the GTX 2080. I've seen reference to an Intel graphics control panel but never was able to find and open.
i dont know. all i know is that its a vivobook 15 with gtx1650ti, i5 10300h, and a 120hz refresh rate. i want my monitor to stay at 120hz permanently. i dont want to change it to 120hz everytime i open my laptop
