Hello,
I am Wondering how i can overclock my Intel Core 2 Duo E6300?
my E6300 currently runs at 1.86Ghz and i am hoping to boost this to 2.5 Ghz, Maybe even 3.0Ghz if it is safe to.
Also
I would like it if you could tell me what features of my computer need updating

i would love it if someone could tell me what things to buy/do in order to play: ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead:British Armed Forces.

DO I NEED A COOLER?!
any medium-sized budget Products for ANY computer components and coolers available for purchase in the U.K from an officially recognised company would also help out.

Hi Furbilong did you manage to overclock this system? I'm about to do the same and wondered how you got on?

I am unfamiliar with the MSI BIOS, but here is a link to our generic (Asus) guide:
HOWTO: Overclock C2Q (Quads) and C2D (Duals) - Guide v1.6.1
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/240001-29-howto-overclock-quads-duals-guide

The coolers that come with the 65 nm CPU's is pretty good (the heatsink is twice as large as the one that came with the 45 nm CPU's.

Keep the CPU:RAM ratio at 1:1 and keep pushing the FSB freq upward. Core2 systems gain little benefit from overclocking RAM and the loss of stability can be critical.

Keep the CPU voltage under 1.50 volts and do not exceed 70 C load temps.
