A little more info would help. What won't work or what message is it giving you if any?
I have the same laptop and the same problem, the usual notification will pop up that I have put a DVD in and then when I select:
PLAY DVD with Toshiba Video Player it will only play the audio, no picture in increments.
Windows Media Player won't even recognize that there is a DVD inserted to be played, so it won't give me any options to PLAY.
The interactual player opens up like it should to a menu screen for the movie and upon selecting play movie I get this notice:
"Error PL4013: Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. You may be using an unsupported display mode or your system may not have a working decoder installed. Please ensure that your DVD decoder is functioning properly by launching it from Start | Programs. Click “Help Online” for details on how to correct this problem. "
