Hello,

So, after finishing my first computer build. My monitor is not displaying anything. The cables I have tried are HDMI to HDMI (multiple different ones) and DVI-D to HDMI. I saw there is a troubleshooting guide for issues such as this, however, I do not know how I should power off my computer system. Is there a sequence of keys to press to do this safely? Or should I press the power button? I really do not know the best way to do this so I can check my cabling.

I have pressed no keys on my keyboard, nor do I know if it's even been detected.

Any help is very much appreciated. The graphics card has power as it is lighting up all the fans are spinning. Power is going to the computer but no cable will show my display on my monitor or TV.

Best regards,
Steven.

Press the power button, if it hasn't gone through POST - it will simply shut down.

As for a guide, please see this one and cover each and every step first: https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ng-about-post-boot-no-video-problems.1285536/

In the meantime, can you please post your entire system spec including PSU make and model.
