My Dad plays often a pc game online with a group of friends. Now he wants to
know how he can save his game as he plays it. He knows that is feasible
since he has seen on the Net some played game by others.

What equipment he would need to record his game as he plays it online.

Thanks

1) You mean all those HL mods like Science and Industry, Natural
Selection, Day of Defeat, even Counterstrike at first, were rubbish
because they weren't available in boxes?

2) Where does it say his father didn't buy a boxed version of his game
anyway? He didn't even state what game it is!

3) What Andrew said.

What online game is he playing?

With some of the online games that I've played, it's usually the "host" that
can save the game. And it would be saved to the host harddrive.

Many games have integrated recording abilities (eg. Doom 3, Half-Life
1/2). Others don't, and need 3rd-party software like FRAPS to record the
game.

Your talking two separate things here.

Do you mean to save the game's progress? Or do you mean record the
game's run like a VCR?

And what does that BS have to do with the OP's request? You really are
a twat.
