how to support 1666mhz Ram with i5 2500

i'm having i5 second gen 2500 with intel DH67BL motherboard, i want to upgrade my ram from 4gb 1333 mhz to 1666mhz corsair vegenance ram...

but my motherboard does not support 1333mhz + ram configurations..

So i want to know any motherboard that support my processor (Socket 1155)(H67)
with 1666mhz ram compatibility...

No such thing as 1666. It is either 1600 or 1866. Not worth the trouble, either. Just get another 4gb of 1333.

but what about the blogs and people that say that higher the frequency higher the performance ?

Sandy Bridge isn't overly affected by ram speed. Benchmarks would show a difference, but real world scenarios, the difference is so minor, you wouldn't really notice. Not having enough ram is more of a performance hit, than speed.
