How to use 3 monitors

Hello,
Currently, I am using a GTX470 and have two monitors connected to it. I was thinking about getting a 3rd monitor and was wondering what I would need to do for that. From doing a bit of research, the way I would go about this is to get another video card to SLI (so I have two more ports as well) and simply connect my third monitor to the second video card. Is it this simple? Just in case it is of any help, I am running i7 950 with 6gbs of ram on windows 7 64bit. (oh and lastly.. I was just thinking of grabbing 2x 560s instead of looking for another 470). any help is appreciated.

I have not done multiple monitors but I do know it is not one of Nvidias strengths , like it is with AMD/ATI and Eyefinity. Nvidia does have 3d vision surround which should help;

you just need another gtx 470.

Because the drivers work better or the fact that you don't have to mess around with adapters, just use the standard DVI plugs?
