Hello everyone,

I ordered a asus board a few months ago and today i got around to installing. As i did so i noticed that the board had a slight bow to it. I found this out when i couldn't get the I/0 plate to line up properly. I'll post some pics that i hope will allow you to see what i'm talking about. I bought the board from newegg but am passed the 30 day return limit. I'd rather not have to deal with sending it back to asus if i don't have to. So..

my question is how bad does a board have to be warped before it has to be returned?

Solution
All MOBO's have some amount of warping. Both temperature and HSF installation will warp the MOBO. The acceptable amount has more to do with it's function and installation; clearly if either fails then RMA the MOBO.

Typical is from center to edge 0~5mm (excluding backplate height), on average 1~3mm. I rarely find a perfectly flat on all axis MOBO's.

/Edit - just noticed the pics -- you're fine.
