So i overclocked my CPU (8600k) to 4.7Ghz about a year ago, it caused a small fan curve issue but now its just starting to get annoying, one of the case fans would ramp up to 100 then go back down. my cpu is water cooled so i know its not over heating or anything just want to see if this will fix my fan issue. heres my specs.

CPU - 8600K
MOBO - Asrock Extremem4 z370
let me know if you need any others like gpu etc etc

thanks for any help you give me.

Solution
Read user manual of your motherboard and learn, how to use CLEAR_CMOS jumper on motherboard.

Loading safe defaults in BIOS usually does the same thing.

Load BIOS optimal defaults.
Save settings.
Restart.
