Question HP Elitebook 8540W

hey guys, so i have this hp elitebook 8540W and its running windows 10 21h2 well when i install drivers it glitches alot it gves black screen wnd it crashes alot when i install windows 7 same problem bu it says then Nvidia Driver stopped responding but succsesfully recoevrd over and over again it could be a graphics card problem bit without drivers it gives weurd glitches like random colors stripes if yall could help me that would be awsome tysm for reading wish ya a good day

Those units were known for the Nvidia cards dying over time. Try to disable the Nvidia graphics card in device manager and use the igpu only.
