Hello, I have the following HP Laptop and would like to replace the ram - currently it only has 4gb so I am looking to upgrade to 8gb or 16gb.

LAPTOP MODEL: HP Laptop Model 15-da0595sa

Here is a couple of images of inside the laptop:

I have a couple of rams which have been taken from other laptops and I'm wondering if they will be compatible.

1x KINGSTON 8GB 1Rx8 PC4 - 2666V - SA1 - 11 HP26D4S9S8ME-8 9995624-e53.a00g 8112415-1831 - Image of ram: https://prnt.sc/qo9oc0

2x CRUCIAL 8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM - 1.2V - CL17 - CT8G4SFD824A.C16FF - 376507 - 1D2F7D7B - Image of ram: https://prnt.sc/qo9o67

Does anybody know if any of these rams will work in this laptop?

If the answer is no, which ram would you recommend?

Thank you so much!

Here's the exact model of the laptop, the link above expired.

Can't say for sure, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. I think the only way to tell for sure is to give it a try.
A friend of a friend previously told me that the crucial 2x8gb (above) wouldn't work but I didn't get a response as to why - they also said possibly Kingston 1x8 GB (above) would work but again I didn't get any further details, therefore not a reliable source.

If I test them in the laptop, could it cause underlying issues later? Let's say it powers up, then later it starts having issues because it's not the right ram for this laptop? What are the restrictions with ram types in laptops? Does the DDR need to be correct? Does anything else need to be considered?

More information around this would be really appreciated.
