Question Hp Omen 25l not turning on.

I've checked CPU, RAM, plugged/unplugged all wires, but nothing has worked. I've come to the conclusion I need a new power button, but idk how to replace it. I don't know what to buy, and the screws for most things are on way to tight (to the point some screws have degraded from me trying to undo them). I've looked stuff up, and the names for things are way to confusing and I can't find anything on HPs website for it.

Power pins don't jump start(but they worked for 8 months before it stopped turning on easily for no apparent reason). If anybody can help or offer advice, it'd be greatly appreciated.

if it doesn´t start even while shortening the two power pins on the motherboard, most likely your PSU is faulty.

try a paperclip test on the PSU itself

this happened to me, I turned my PC off as normal before bed then next day- NOTHING!. I have been searching the internet for an answer just to find out it was a SIMPLE AND CHEAP FIX. I had to replace the CMOS battery (c2032 small coin shaped battery) which is located behind the graphics card. Before turning back on, I also had to do a BIOS reset ( once remove said battery, wait 20 mins and then put the battery in{yes thats all}. Then I inserted graphics card , made sure everything was plugged in and POOF its back working as great as ever! Hope this helps 🙏
